Bottom line, there's no way to spin this trade to be a good thing for the Nets.

Kyrie not resigning with the mavs unless he really really really only cares about a bag. this union doesn’t make sense basketball wise at all, then if luka can’t consistently play with another star player it will expose him and other stars will not want to sign with the mavs. Let’s say this 100% works for some odd reason luka and kyrie average close to or a 30 piece together this is still nowhere near a contending team .
