I don't think that trade was horrible for Brooklyn, you never get equal value talent wise in trades like that...it's not how it works

Dinwiddie and DFS both on good contracts for next year and DFS can be flipped before the deadline for at least another 1st to add to the picks they just got

If they keep DFS you have some pretty good depth and the defense should be nice

Nets should be on the look out for one more combo scorer/creator and they should be straight

I cant wait for it to come out how Silver is being so friendly with the players and seeming like he player first, but all this time owners been getting a super unfair piece of the pie.

Silver, i got dirt on you doggie

Just now hearing about the trade.

Whoever runs the Nets needs to be fired.

GM or VP of basketball operations or whoever is horrible.

First they give everything away for James Harden.

They gave up Levert, Jarrett Allen, and Spencer Dinwiddie.

Then, while Harden's still under contract, they trade him for Ben Simmons...........who's not even close to being an equal value trade for Harden.

Well, the contracts are about the same..............but production-wise they took a huge loss.

No way should they have taken on Ben's contract.

Now they trade Kyrie to Dallas without getting anything comparable in return for him either.

Durant's gotta be pissed.

Might as well trade him too and start over because they can forget about any chance of winning a championship now.

All that to say

Kd still a top 5 player
Claxton growing to be a all star and running for dpoy

Spencer has been balling and is back to his all star potential form now he’s back starting for a franchise he was good for

They finally got a competent wing defender in finnley that willing to shoot the 3 ball

Joe Harris been ass but if he can get together he’s a bucket

Seth been good but injured
Cam is a bucket

If tj warren can be half the man he was in that bubble that’s a great pickup

Nets still ain’t a bad team they actually may be better now if the sim of their parts can pull it together

That's all well and good, but the Nets with KD and Kyrie>>>>>>>>>>>>than the Nets without one or the other.

And the Nets with KD, Kyrie, and Harden>>>>>>>>>KD and Kyrie without Harden.

Bottom line, there's no way to spin this trade to be a good thing for the Nets.
