I been thinking about this for a minute.

If MIP was an award that wasnt strictly stats driven, then Brunson would win it no questions.

His numbers are up alot but more importantly, he went from a dude that we all thought was a decent 1 dimensional scoring pg, to being one of the best pgs in the game.

And it aint just stats, his name stay popping up on the top of clutch points charts, and efficiency charts, etc. So his stats have a direct impact on winning.

The argument against what im saying is, for Brunson its about getting an oppurtunity more than improving but still,

Brunson for MIP or we riding

:readyforwar:

What have they won since being discarded?
idk why you wanna simplify things to who won what like that makes your argument better but:

1. Butler after you traded him took a franchise back to the playoffs for the first time in like 13 years, took a different team to the finals and had one of the best finals games ever and has brought them to contention for the finals the majority of the time he’s been there up to this point and became one of the best players ever for that franchise

2. lauri became able to play as a SF and be damn good at it and worked on his reputation after the bulls tanked it and became better defensively and is on his way to an allstar/MIP season and leading a team that was looked at as one of the worst in the league en route to tanking for wemby

(Averaging 24 and 8)

3. Portis became a lot better and more reliable as a role player and helped a team win a ring two years ago

(averaging 14 and 10)

4. Wendell Carter is putting up great numbers as a young player who’s still improving

(averaging 16 and 8)

5. Wagner who represents the pick you traded for a guy bulls fans kinda don’t want, is one of the best players in the league out of the last 3 drafts

(20ppg scorer)

Now tell me what you have gotten as a result of getting rid of all those guys.?…

Don't care those dudes are leading their teams to the lottery miss me with the stats talk

Lauri had every opportunity to become great but his body kept letting him down.

Wendel come to find out he couldn't see the damn basket, that's on him for not seeing an eye doctor

I'll agree with Portis, the team should have kept him but after he knocked out Mirotic his time here was ticking

Niggas can sit here now and say they should have been kept but two of those dudes were bums and nobody would pay the salaries they was looking for

1. You have a shitty medical staff

2. lol you’re blaming getting rid of a promising young C on him not getting Lasik lmao

3. So Portis his mirotic and mirotic leaves and Portis is gone so you made it so you lost both!? Lmao

4. Why is the blame not on y’all for them being “bums“? (Even though that’s not even true)
