Bridges is somewhat more proven and they’re banking on him taking a bigger leap next year. Plus other all stars would be more sold on the idea of playing next to Bridges as opposed to Simons. Plus Bridges is a better defender. They’re hoping he can be their Kawhi.

Bridges averaged 26 last season for the nets then got swept as the man on the team

How much of a leap can he make?

Also the whole part about other allstars playing with bridges over simons is just speculative BS from you and has no basis lol

Also yes bridges is a better defender but simons is younger and a better shooter and if you have all those defenders on the team I don’t see the importance of the defensive comparison

Deron was still better than Rondo as well

Deron Williams was a really good player before getting traded and injuries.

I’ve never heard anyone compare Rondo and Chris Paul. Lmao. Rondo got love, but it was understood that he was a level below both Williams and Paul when they were in their prime.

He averaged 26 but he wasn’t really a star. If that makes sense. They’re hoping he can be their Kawhi or Jimmy Butler who develops into one. Sometimes players become late bloomers.

I mean Dame said Bridges is one of his favorite players so….

Our defense would take a step back with Simons. I’m not too sold on the idea of the same team but with Simons and Dinwiddie in the backcourt.
