Bridges averaged 26 last season for the nets then got swept as the man on the teamBridges is somewhat more proven and they’re banking on him taking a bigger leap next year. Plus other all stars would be more sold on the idea of playing next to Bridges as opposed to Simons. Plus Bridges is a better defender. They’re hoping he can be their Kawhi.

Also yes bridges is a better defender but simons is younger and a better shooter and if you have all those defenders on the team I don’t see the importance of the defensive comparison
