Glazers only difference from the Ajax leadership is their debt-leverage acquisition of United. They both just pocket the money and spend far less than they could. Ajax just happen to play in a league where other owners aren't wealthy (to my limited knowledge).

This is all on Huntelaar and Hamstra - the new technical fellas, Overmars got cancelled - but they’re not half as good as Overmars is(who is currently reviving Antwerp as a technical director ). For proposing a deal outside club policy lol.

Ajax is slowly falling back to their old pre Cruijff revolution self and the board of directors are on point in this case : no reason to fuck up your solvency and policies which took over 10 years to build for individual players cause the new temporary technical folks don’t really know what they’re doing.

Hmm ok. Seems reasonable but don't why they don't just oust them and bring in a replacement with a similar competency to Overmars.

What kinda un-Ajax deal got Overmars removed? I hope it's not eschewing 4-3-3 or something like that.

I haven’t seen him play but that’s very interesting. Concerning Malo, he has some tactical improvements to make. He’s so good offensively, that he forgets to cover his back and because he’s fast, he manages to make up for those mistakes. Opposite teams are figuring it out more and more. He’s baby Hakimi lolol

Overmars resigned because he was sending explicit photos of himself to his female colleagues Lmao. Turns out everyone - from van de sar to ten Hag - knew Overmars was doing that shit for years, was a huge scandal over here in Holland but fam resigned with the quickness, escaped the limelight and started working in Belgium after a couple months . Ten Hag and him go way back and despite being such a sexual deviant, he seemed to be brilliant at his job (Just renewed his contract after Barca and Arsenal were pushing for him).

Ajax usually hires ex players without really caring if they have the proper background, been a hit or a miss and occasional public bout for years. Club had coupes and shit lmao.

The board once consisted of mostly ex ballers - after a bunch of business man ran the club for years - which was like if Fergie, Scholes, Neville and Rio backed by public opinion would just overthrow the glazers etc shit was madness and goat.

There are several Dutch documentaries - Cruijff really was the goat on and off the pitch - but I’m not sure it they have subs or if there are any English docs about the ‘fluwelen revolutie’ .
