If it’s a few then that’s a disservice and teams wouldn’t sign a garrison mathews (a fantastic shooter) if they just picked two guys up in a draft and signed a FA

don’t say none of these guys move the needle like that when your team employs Kenyon Martin Jr

Christian wood not a top 50 player
For what the rockets are trying to accomplish at this stage (develop young talent) why would they sign one of those dudes?

What does Christian Wood have to do with anything? I’m close to deading this convo because we’re getting off topic.

I don’t think you get it man and deading a convo because you don’t understand is problematic lol

all I can suggest is you reread the posts

Who are the international players that u feel are not getting a chance right now?

Raptors and Grizzlies are about 25 years old I believe. In those drafts of that time, no where near the amount of non-American talent. Some countries are going to be stagnant like China post Yao but a bunch are gonna see basketball cultural growth like Canada , Australia, France. Is it Slovenia with Luka’s ascension, Africa (as a whole continent), especially Nigeria with the right programs, etc. Last two MVP’s foreigners.

I get the team disparity’s thing but I think that’s more a cba issue where stars can exploit to team up.

Roughly 30-34 more NBA players in a vacuum with the continuing growth of the talent pool is not that crazy to me. Historically the league always expands as the game does. And for the world to be producing more talent than ever + growing. I don’t see why expansion shouldn’t happen.

I agree with Beta too.

With 2 more teams, thats 2 new places players can get max contracts, which will distribute top talent a bit more and lead to parity.

Only issue is that there arent any big markets without teams, so the 2 new teams will be on some Pelicans shit.

Im including seattle in that too. A team in seattle would be dope as fuck for nostalgia reasons, but players aint gonna wanna be playing in seattle.

Also to piggy back giving Seattle a team again adds a lot of revenue and interest

Sonics can get proper retirement ceremonies, fanbase comes back which is a decent one

seattle based basketball players like KPJ, IT, and Crawford can do a lot of stuff with what comes with the Sonics coming back and that city

I disagree with players don’t wanna play in Seattle wholeheartedly

Over the years I’ve heard about numerous nba players saying they love the city

also Durant said he would like to get into ownership at some point and a team that would be intriguing would be the Sonics

Seattle is an underrated hoop city as well

not as good as a Cali, chicago or Jersey as a whole but it’s a hotbed

Remember us having this conversation earlier this year. Seattle and Vegas make the most sense to have franchises in. Just move 2 other teams from the west to east, like Memphis, New Orleans, Minnesota, etc

lmaooo don’t you ever talk about hoop hotbeds and not named the number 1

And Contracting teams when the game is the biggest it’s ever been doesn’t name sense

Why make it so less league revenue comes in?

two new markets equals hundreds of new jobs, Boosted economies, talent being more spread

I mean we watched Cade get drafted to the Pistons and then next year a top pick goes to Minnesota, Detroit or Orlando? To pair with the other top 3 picks that have come already?

pistons trying to dump sekou as it is lol
