how many of these guys are good enough to be…the 8th guy on a roster?

Svi has been linked to the Lakers. The only other player on there that I would want is maybe Aron Baynes. And I think he got injured , that why he does not have a team.

You've called some of those guys trash so now they should be on a team
 
Nikola vucevic not a top 30 player
Jaylen brown is not a top 30 player
Damontas Sabonis is not a top 30 player
Kristaps porzingis is not a top 30 player
Lamelo ball is not a top 30 player

Way too much talent in the league

there’s going to be unforeseen rookies that take off.

There’s going to be players drafted last year that are gonna exceed expectations

Then there’s going to be another draft in 10 months!

I listed players that didn’t have jobs currently

and I’m not asking you for the lakers but how many of those guys can be put into the same role as…Jeremy lamb on the pacers?

not because those players he’s mentioning though but expansion is due. The world’s talent keeps rising. 2 team expansion really not the watered down narrative that gets parroted.

None of whom will be missed if they aren’t with a team.

No I’m saying there’s so much talent in the league and I’m illustrating that by saying players this good aren’t even top 30

so even if you expanded its not going to stretch the league thin from a talent perspective at all if that’s anybody’s argument
 
Think how much talent comes in the league every 3 years

Look how much talent came in since 2011

you think that’s sustainable the way it is now?

How many of those players can be end of the rotation pieces? A few. If they were as good as you believe they’d be signed. Truth is, they’re easily replaceable for what they do. Which is why they’re on the street. Injuries happen. I’m sure a few of them will get picked up for depth as the season progresses.

No need for more teams based off the fact that a handful of mid to low tier free agents are still available. None of those dudes moving the needle for any team like that.

Yea, I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree on this one.

We just saw about 5 years of Vucevic as the main guy in Orlando. Why do we want to expand the league to see more of that?

Just because the magic did a shitty job post Dwight doesnt mean that will be the case

i know the point you’re making and it’s valid but that’s on the front office

also Vegas and Seattle seem to be much better destinations

If it’s a few then that’s a disservice and teams wouldn’t sign a garrison mathews (a fantastic shooter) if they just picked two guys up in a draft and signed a FA

don’t say none of these guys move the needle like that when your team employs Kenyon Martin Jr
