Meaning he already got a lump sum of $16.5m on July 1st. And even if they 'dock' his pay, he won't actually start losing any money until November first.

Knowing all that, you really think them telling them his pay is being docked for not showing up to camp is REALLY gonna make him show up?

It’s a new day, my nigga. Tryna control these young niggas using money is a wrap. That might’ve worked when niggas was making like 5 mil a year and what not. Now with these big ass contracts and endorsements and the example the Bron and other niggas have set, as long as they’re smart...ain’t no more of that shit.

see my previous posts. I mean, they can send him a letter saying ‘You’re being fined.’. Sure. Will Ben Simmons actually lose 500k for every day he doesn’t report to camp?

No. That will never happen. He knows that. They know that. Anybody with any sort of knowledge about how nba contracts work knows that.

The fines for missing camps is irrelevant and means nothing if they was to do that.
