They spent the last 2 weeks pump faking on not wanting to give up value beyond Simmons and saying they could just dump tobias Harris salary to get harden in the offseason. Instead they gave up one of the best shooters in the league, draft picks and gave the nets a starting center they didn't have.

That's alit of value for someone you weren't pressed to get cause you could wait till summer.

I don't know why I bothered but it's too late now we here.

They definitely gave up too much, but I think they just wanted to be over and done with the Simmons situation.


Otherwise, they could've waited for a better deal after the season was over.

Ima have to disagree here, white is a quality versatile player that can create his own shot. And smart has been playing MUCH better since he came back from the injury in January. And getting Theis to replace freedom as our backup big is an upgrade. It's 5 open roster spots we ain't done yet

I like theis coming back..but if we already up against it luxury tax wise...the money we paying Theis n White doesn't help..

So we gave up Richardson n Dennis, for 1st rounder (nothing big) for white n theis...ehh it's ok, think we give up a little too much..i think the bench got weaker..but we will see.
