The move makes no sense for Watson or Jags.

But they got the draft picks(even after a watson trade) and money to get good real wuick.

honestly their offense wasnt bad. They just didnt have a qb.

most of their needs are on defense and they need another wr

Allen Robinson and Chris Godwin would be nice signings

Bud Dupree will be a free agent

not sure what DBs will be out there

I like Watson, but he's not an elite QB. I'd take Lawrence and keep the draft capital unless it's a cheaper trade.

Hes an elite QB he had a great season and dragged that trash ass team to the 4 or 5 wins they did get.

Watson is a top 10 qb currently

THEY HAVE THE CAP SPACE.

eapecially for next season

he will only cost 15mil against the cap

in 2022 it jumps to 40

and at that point they could restructure his deal to kick some money down the road

and again

Watson is a proven top 10 quaterback in the NFL

Lawrence hasnt played a down

but the assumption is that houston will def ask for the number one pick

and if im jax I consider it for a proven elite talent like watson.

Don't think we're in cap hell, and we have a "win now" roster. If Brady wasn't coming back it could make sense.
