2020 NFL Season Thread

eh. its the cost of doin bizness in todays NFL. if you have a top tier player on his rookie deal on your roster. and u wanna extend him, you basically gotta break the bank. it is what it is. Look at the chiefs. they paid everybody....chiefs gone hafta pay Lattimore.
Chiefs paying Lattimore? He's with the saints....I understand how the business goes with nfl contracts I'm just talking about teams who want to keep a good franchise for years not just be good for a few years then be trash again

Plus i believe Goff has regressed and can not be fixed

He regressed, but it's not all on him. The Rams O-Line is dismal! Their pass and run blocking has SEVERELY regressed and it's evident just watching them.

PFF had them graded out @ 6th overall in 2017, 10th in 2018 and last year they were 25th. They won't get better either unless they get relatively lucky and hit in the mid rounds in future drafts.

Look at their cap situation they're in the red...kupp will get a new contract with big money and they won't afford the other players they want to keep either plus they have given away their picks which doesn't help either....that's what happens when your front office is on that "win now" attitude

Ya, I know. I'm saying that's what got them in the red. They keep getting expensive FA instead of cheap rookies. No first round picks since Goff, and they don't have one next year either.

Yea, i made the correction

Goff hasn’t really regress that much.

The head coach did.

I remember B. Cooks saying how much do their offense was taken from the Saints and few other teams.

When your entire style is stole folks gon catch on

For some reason, I see a trash team from last year drastically exceeding expectations and going deep into the playoffs.
