Fam, A 3-4 De is more akin to a DT. Which is why when they go into a nickel front with 4 down. The overwhelming majority of them play inside.
4-3 Ends and 3-4 OLBs are essentially the same. They’re edge players. If a 3-4 OLB team switched to a 43 today he’d be on the edge hand In the dirt , vice versa.
