Veteran forward Luol Deng reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers on a four-year contract on July 2.
The Vertical's Shams Charania reported Deng's agreement with the Lakers will pay him $72 million over four years, which NBA TV confirmed.

Deng's departure and contract stretch should sharply increase the Lakers' available cap room by roughly $12 million for next summer, when they hope to add a second superstar on a maximum contract to join LeBron James.
