They hyping Lamar up too much. Dude is really, really nice, but let’s see how he’s doing 3-4 years down the line. I remember the same things being said about Cam and RG3. RG3 couldn’t play to his potential long term and Cam plagued with injuries.
I know Lamar is a better passer, so I hope he stops running so much or at least starts sliding. I’d like to finally see a black QB with longevity.

Guess I should have said effective longevity. None of them are Brady, Manning, Rodgers, etc. type longevity. I could see other black QB’s doing it, but Lamar like to try to truck linebackers like Cam used to do.

I agree. I would hope he created this lane and could keep it up long term, but taking hits from linebackers on a regular basis is not conducive to a long effective career. I want him to play as long as possible and make as much money as possible.
