Held him to his lowest pts total all year. We win that game easily if we had an offense. But to answer your question, yes, we kept Mayfield in check.

But did you win?

All that other woulda coulda didn’t happen

If LSU had a decent QB we gon undefeated. If Etling hit Charles on them wide open passes we beat Bama.

See how easy that was lol.

Our running backs combined for like 20 yards rushing lol smh

Offense was disgusting last season

You didn’t ask that, you asked about Mayfield

He dropped 300 yards on y’all and 2TDs

So that’s why I said that lol

Meh

We were the only team to hold him under 30 all yr. That’s about as close as you get to shutting him down, dude is special.

I was bored and looking up the top players for each state on 247.

And UT only has 2 of the top 20 players committed and a lot of them is going to A&M and OU

I know its early but damn UT

Naw you gotta lock down the state first. Cant hope for out state all the time yall aint BAMA.

Every program say they gotta lock the down the home talent first.

I know what you saying but we dominated in state last yr and this cycle ain’t over. I’m not concerned, yet.

But there have been 3-4 guys in this cycle who were consistently saying UT was their leader (Demarvin Leal is the first that comes to mind), then they make one trip to College Station and commit to A&M. The Marchiol article just confirmed my suspicions. But they’ll learn just like Ole Miss did, you can’t rely on that for long term success.
