Idk why you keep trying to die on this hill.I think the bold is an unfounded assumption. We see fighters get progressively better through fights all the time even when they make weight. There are a dozen reasons for why a fighter can start out slow.
At the end of the day, I watched the fight and it didn't look like a conditioning thing. It looked more like he put Haney down, and Haney wasn't really able to recover. That's something we see a lot in boxing too.
Again, from a business standpoint, I understand what you guys are saying. However, from a competitive standpoint, I couldn't operate like that. If somebody has a win over me (official or not) and I think I'm the better fighter, I want to get out there and prove that. Ryan can't use Haney to rebuild his credibility if Haney beats his ass. If Haney can do to Ryan what Haney says he can do, then that will more or less prove to most people that the drugs were the only reason that Ryan was competitive.
Idk why you keep trying to die on this hill.
In a street fight weight doesn't matter. Get it done. In PROFESSIONAL boxing there are weight classes for a reason. If not put Innoue in with Ennis and it should just work out cause weight doesn't matter.
Not coming into the fight with weight reached mean you had an easier camp cause you not weight draining yourself.
These guys walk around at 170 and squeeze down to 147/154. If you think that doesn't make a difference idk what to tell you. It's why MANY boxers through history when they move up and feel better cause they not weight drained. A better scenario is to do a catch weight... but I don't even fuck with that either.
For PEDs once again it's a professional sport. You know the rules and these ppl have 100s of thousands of dollars on chefs and nutritionist. Miss me with that bull.
I wouldn't have given him the fight but kudos to him. Hopefully Ryan can come in without peds and on weight this time and we can see who is the better man on that night.
Not gonna argue. There's no hill to die on. We just disagree.
I've watched enough combat sports to have seen people on PED and missed weight lose. I'm not saying that shit didn't impact the fight. I'm just saying you can't definitively say that Haney lost because of the PEDs or the weight. You can't. That's just a fact.
Ya'll think Garcia is a cheater, racist, and a loser and shouldn't be given a rematch fine.
I disagree. I think if Haney believes he's the better fighter, he should take the fight and beat Garcia.
Not gonna argue.
You king of the hill.
