I was thinking the same thing but performance grew on me the longer it went on.

I’m still set on the teen being Mephisto. I think he took that form to make Agatha think he might be her son. Not sure why he would do it because I know nothing about Mephisto.
 
I wonder who Rio is. I seen the theory that she might be Death. She did let out a laugh when they mentioned Death in the episode. She said on the previous episode, she wants her bodies
