Netflix Mr. McMahon

I'm still tripping on how Vince, when Steph was pregnant wanted to do a storyline where he was the baby's father. Like what kind of sick, depraved person thinks of some shit like that?
The kind who was sexually abused by his own mother.

Like I said, it all makes sense.

I skimmed a lot of the early stuff and didn't watch when it was Cena's turn because I just didn't care about when he came in

I thought this was going to be more damning. They just painted him as a businessman willing to do literally anything for his business

It was nostalgic as hell watching some of those episodes though

That’s because that’s what the doc was originally about. It wasn’t about anything that we’ve learned in the last 6-8mths.

There’s not much they can actually do.

The more damning part of the doc is toward the end. But sounds like thats what u didnt watch lol

Yea as soon as Cena came on I got bored and turned it off lol I just don’t like Cena

What was the damning part that I missed?
Toward the end episodes is when the scandals and sex lawsuits actually came out. I think McMahon stopped showing up for interviews at the end.

“Once you’re accused of rape, you’re a rapist. But it was consensual. And actually, had it been a rape, um, the statute of limitations had run out. So, I mean, it’s all kind of crap like that that people are digging up and trying to find something on you.”

This is alarming but then I realised that's how a lot on this site feel

@Infamous114 I don't know if you are going to watch this .... I would recommend skipping it. Just a documentary about wrestling rather than actual Vince
Just started watching...what a shocker that Vince had a fucked up childhood. I would have questioned my pops immediately why he wasn't around for the first 12 years of my life while I lived in a trailer park

I finished it I don't enjoy this documentary style. It was too much about the wrestling industry, WWE and not enough about Vince, I kind of felt he controlled the narrative too much and wasn't challenged

Needed more attitude era

Really only gave us half an ep of it

Thats my biggest gripe

Still found it interesting

But why ? Lol

I think there should have been 2 episodes on wrestling,

Business/screw jobs
Steroids/deaths

WWE have produced so many documentaries about the attitude era this didn't address or touch on anything new
