different strokes for different folks.

Being there or not being there aint the barometer on how good a parent you gonna be to that child and how good of a partner you gon be to the mother of that child. End of the day THAT is what matters imo
I mean. It’s definitely a sign and can definitely be a red flag.

Y’all can disagree on it but it’s definitely a sign.

Lol what if you miss game 7, yall lose by 1 while you were averaging 32 and the kid comes out looking exactly like your teammate who just happens to miss the game winning freethrows? Oof.
Didn’t Fisher fuck his teammates women?

or... its something that was discussed and agreed upon with THAT couple.

fam you keep saying over and over you have your opinion and others can have theirs but you clearly judging folks that dont agree with you.. or at least it seems that way

Very true.

All I said it can be a sign/omen of things to come.

How are you going to tell me I’m overeating my role when my wife told me how my presence helped her mentally through her pregnancies.

Please explain my wife feelings to me. Please do
I’m sure you did help, as did I. And I’m sure she was grateful.

But if for some reason you weren’t there, say because you were winning the championship, she would have been ok, trust me. You didn’t save her life or anything, lol. That’s what I mean by overstating your importance.

As men, please stop talking for women.

Lmaoooo.

Yall opinion can be yall opinion. And very valid.

But as men, stop saying shit like "your girl will never be ok with it" to dudes saying theyre girl would.

In a thread about supporting women, its wild to see yall acting like all women have the same opinion and that yall know better than the dudes thats with them.

What do you mean talking for women? Or a thread about supporting women? This is about men and what they would do.

I’m not understanding that.

The thread isn't about supporting women though.

It's about what's more important you. Being there for a birth or Game 7.

If Fish could show up when his daughter had emergency eye cancer surgery in game 2 of the quarter finals.

Then I can be there for tip of game 7 of the Finals.

To me...this kinda proves the OPPOSITE point.

Fish came back AFTER the surgery and after he confirmed everything went well and his daughter was safe. His main priority was his family, and that basketball shit was a very distant second.

What are we doing here?

There are circumstances where a husband has no choice though. Sure in your scenario of an NBA player making millions it's easier to skip a game and make it for the birth

I wrote that on page 3.

When a mfer says he and his family decide game 7 more important, it should be respected.

If a woman thinks its more important for her husband to be at the game, it should be respected just as much as when a woman says she needs her man for support.

Yall was acting like theres only 1 right answer like yall usually do.

Life always more gray than black and white.

I get it though. Nuance died in 2010 and here we are in 2024.
