Yeah I don’t really expect you ax to acknowledge how opportunistic Tatum has gotten as a player

the counting stats are better than what you watch at this point due to him taking a back seat and hitting shots after someone else already broke the defense down or scoring after being up handily off the backs of others

He did not play good last night and if he didn’t play that entire game the Celtics would’ve been fine

You take out Jaylen Brown you might be looking at a L

And that applies to a lot of Celtics games

Tatum still plays weak when going to the rim, still makes questionable decisions with the ball when pressured, still takes bad shots that luckily go in at times, etc

He’s not great he’s just a beneficiary of great teams. I think management knows this which is why they try to stack the deck every season

Tatum plays on a team Jrue Holiday is the 4th best player and kristaps is 3rd

He’s happy as shit the pressure isn’t on him to lead and carry because he can’t do it

This is one of your worst takes ever dawg. You wanna gas Zach Lowe and bring up numbers and analytics “the efficiency chart” and all that other bullshit but ignore the numbers when I’m bringing up FACTS about Tatum. This playoff run Jaylen has done a great job of being more of a vocal leader and being more efficient but we’re not here without Tatum. A lot of Jaylen getting off is due to the attention Tatum is drawing offensively. I despise some of his 3 point attempts but as long as we win banner 18 iont give a fuck about who 1A or 1B is
 
The Tatum and Brown disrespect is wild. Tatum didnt need to score because his team could carry him and best believe Tatum is due for a big game and will go off at some point. There's no excuses on the scoreboard and Tatum aint stupid, a win is a win. The media made yall believe that the Celtics were "scrubs". People forgot this a 64-win team who killed the opposition in their playoff series, injuries or not that's not Boston's fault or responsibility.

When we beat the Mavs in 5 a lot of yall gonna owe Tatum and Brown an apology.

As for the lead, it was at the start of the quarter and no way was Boston gonna stop scoring after 9 points. If the lead was cut at the end of the quarter then I would have been nervous, a weaker coach or team would have caved. If you up 17, statistically speaking speaking you only need to score 23 points for each quarter to win and they could easily do that while applying defensive pressure and locking them up.

Kyrie and Luka are phenomenal scorers but lag on defense, and outside of them, the Mavs have no one else who can answer for JT, Brown, Jrue or Porzingis. Scoring is nice but defense wins championships.

Yeah man I was trying to tell them it’s a bad matchup mainly due to personnel and the fact they haven’t played a team with this many scoring options but a lot of people bought into that “tougher road western conference” bullshit and intentionally ignored facts that has been presented
 


@Sony Montana had the audacity to call me a box score watcher but this is 3 examples right here, Dallas isn’t defending him 1 on 1 and he’s making the right reads. I want him to cut his 3 point attempts in half and he had some trash turnovers but what I’m not gonna allow you to do is discredit a 3 time all nba first team player like he ain’t shit
