Cheating Culture

Why do you feel it's not being looked down upon?
Part of it it’s being forced in all form of media/entertainment.

So cheating is mainstream and when something is mainstream it becomes “cool” acceptable.

#ShunThem

Why do you feel it's universally accepted?
Because everyone does it, its no pressure to be accountable look over your left and right shoulder people are listening to their friends and they arent saying hey girl/man dont do wrong by that man/woman the negative reinforcement is told and modeled

How is anyone supposed to feel bad about doing something when there is no benefits to not doing it?

Are there family structures that people marry into that will reduce their financial burden?

Is there a welcoming community that people marry into that reduces their sense of disconnectedness?

Lol, cheating and other sexual immoralities was frowned upon because it was an affront to an entire community that accepted a person from somewhere else.

We don't have that anymore and on top of that lol, someone can go on their phone and be in contact with thousands of people.

Lol, like, if someone cheats on you in this day and age, it's meaningless. It don't mean shit. Can't even be mad.

Because it’s so common and people openly talk about being a side. Not saying cheating is more common but it seems like it’s expected that a relationship will fail due to cheating.

This whole premise is bizarre. Who do you guys hang out with that considers cheating to be no big deal?

Cheating is literally called "cheating". That shit is frowned upon by most people in society. What are we doing here?
Example this girl I know is dating a nigga after like a year they get engaged after their engagement she starts to feel like homie is no longer putting effort in the relationship so she immediately gets a boyfriend…. So she s engaged and has a boyfriend who the fiancée knows nothing about

And the consensus from her crew is if homie was handling his biz she would nt have to get a bf

Im like wtf

It’s not.

It’s brushed off

It should be looked at so vile. We all had friends that cheated on their lady/man when we were younger and didn’t even care.

I also don't think we can have this discussion based on mindsets that we had during our 20s

So before this goes any further, yes, I turned a blind eye and was complicit in a lot of my friends cheating on their significant others when I was that age

Now? You can't come around me if you're on that kinda time

And as a result of this plus residual affects of the lockdown, it seems like an all time high number of people stopped pursuing companionship altogether
