Louis full of shit. And I think that's the point of the show, to frustrate audiences to how much of a lying piece of shit he is

So was that more accurate to the books? Because that showed different things than the movie
Definitely way off the rails from the book.

A lotta book fans are furious.... But I like what they did. I think I said this last session... But this is like a fresh completely different take..

Essentially the "interview" that produced the first book and the movie still exists in this universe... It just never became a book.

I'm the novels, the books exist in the novels, and the first book was always Louis interview. In this universe, the first interview just collected dust. Daniel never wrote or talked about it. Daniel never wrote the book about Louis. Daniel was never kidnapped, made a vampire and a slave of Armand. I'm this show Daniel became an old man... And this show is him attempting to "redo" the interview on a very clever way... As the series is essentially a re telling of the story.

And every "change" they're are crediting to Louis memories being the real monster. It's a very bold and clever way to make a remake. They definitely gave Louis some of Daniel's story from the novels... But it's interesting to see where it goes. Because I'm the books, it was a young Daniel who ended up with Armand, not Louis. The show already changed that... And I'm not going to say it's better.... But it's highly interesting and entertaining.

I'm excited, bcuz I can also say I have no Idea where they going with it

Jacob Anderson is an amazing actor.

Lemme say this again... Jacob Anderson is an AMAZING actor.... However Louis is only the main character in two books. Interview and merrick.... And Merrick is so far down the line in books we may never see that story.

I mean if this becomes the most popular show on TV then we might get lucky, cuz Merrick is a cool ass character ... she's a black witch, and Claudia comes back in that story.. so it would be fun to watch.... But I really doubt we get that deep.

After interview, Lestat becomes the primary protagonist in the novels... And as nuts as the shit Louis got going for this season 2..... He can't fuck with Lestat when it comes to ridiculous ass entertaining stories. Like imo interview is boring in comparison to the QOTD and TotBT stories... Which are the two right after interview. In both of those books Lestat bullshit has GLOBAL implications. Like shit is dramatic right now but we still on book 1... With hints of book 2.... But If we get to books 3,4&5.... They gonna need a bigger budget, and people will quickly forget all about this Louis/Armand/Lestat love triangle... Cuz it really means nothing when everything starts getting threatened

I never even finished season 1. Think I got like 3 ep in. May have to pick it back up
