I don't necessarily agree with that. 20 years ago, the idea of reparations wouldn't have even been considered. More recently they've gotten to a point where they've had Congressional hearings over it. I believe if people keep putting pressure on politicians and we get the right people in seats, that something could happen. Whether it will be what proponents of reparations actually want is a different story. I personally think that a series of policies meant to undo the damage caused by the racist policies in the past would be good, but others think it should be money or nothing.

Please stop Obama's presidency has opened up a can of worms call teabagged which morphed into what we call MAGA . Yt wants America back to it's dominance of spreading democracy , chaos , lies , doing whatever they want with their military & law enforcement to protect their interests . The black man does not factor into any of their plans .

None of that changes the fact that reparations have been spoken about on a federal and state levels something that hasn't ever happened before.

Also, MAGA isn't as big a factor as people think. They are about a quarter of the country at best. The only reason they have so much power is because nobody likes the Dem candidates either.

I'm not a big follower of that movement. I just know that change can and does happen when pressure is applied.

There were niggas like you on the plantation saying black people would never be free in America. There were niggas like you in black neighborhoods saying segregation would never end. There are always people naysaying and shitting on the efforts of others to achieve justice. I bet if reparations checks do get cut, yo ass won't keep this same energy. You'll be the first in line trying to cash out.

Keep dreaming & believing the man will cut that check playa but I have no confidence in anything the man does
 
I just seen pictures of Palestinians children on democracy Now and they look like walking skeletons, its so sad
