Welcome To aBlackWeb

HBO True Detective: Night Country

I thought the ending was almost perfect. The way the native women told their story was sooo dope.

Wild what happened to Annie and wild af that one dude attacked her and the others just jumped in and helped in the end.

Loved how they wrapped it up like "nah, not supernatural. Just some wild women with a grudge."

I do wish they would get more detailed with the spiral cult though. I dont understand how the native group draws it and there's also a faction in Louisiana. And the funds that are provided to tsalal were by the big family in season one, but I dont recall there being any more info than that. Just two groups on opposite ends of the country that draw the same symbols.

The fucking cleaning ladies knows what happens to the scientists

The heavy references to the thing movie is killing me, there’s two characters named after characters from that movie Blair and Clark that’s not just homage

Blair as was pointed out ( the cleaning lady with missing fingers) was at the research facility the night the scientists died she was the one who folded the clothes

Blair was the fucking thing in the movie

What does Blair in this show have in common?

Clark was never the thing he was a just a red hearing and ended up being shot by macready because he’s freaking out so in the movie it made it seems to viewers that’s he was infected but he wasn’t

True detective Clark went from him being displayed as the killer to possibly being a victim to back to possibly being a killer.

I also noticed most of navvarow visions have come after a head injury making me think she also had previous head trauma/ptsd from the war add her fami mental illnesses but explains everything without it being supernatural

Can I get writing spot next season

I like how they didn’t reveal the other cleaning lady was Inuit at the end and the white girl was basically like winter soldier in wakanda it was to totally take them out the political equation they used cover of whiteness on there characters so nobody would suspect them hilarious

But we not gonna overlook them Inuit women was called up whatever to kills those men, ain’t no fucking way in hell they found out that Clark was there proceeded to drive out capture him then flash freeze him and then drive him back and put him in a hole we gonna accept the show was 90% real 10% super natural and also navvaro was tasked to find the last killer the whole dam time by the Inuit lady mafia

Well let’s go back to the carcosoa shit

Basically carcosa is a fictional place with fictional entities that’s been touched by various horror writers and they add wrinkles to it etc lets view this as another wrinkle and that these women worship the same or similar entity that the white people do but ina. Different fashion ie the nazi symbol

got a theory navvaro was working with them women the whole time and was tasked to find Clark, I also believe they left the swirl symbol on tag hat home as a warning or that they killed him after they found him

I came for Jodie foster and she did her thing but the finale was especially some mid.

Took us through a bunch of hoops for no reason really. Never been a fan of that trope. 💩 should have been 8 episodes if they wanted to go that way with the cleaners. Felt rushed.

I watched the finale last night didn't go the way I suspected but it was ok. I saw a theory that Navarro is dead and she didn't comeback from walking out in the snow storm. I didn't get that from what I saw but maybe I'm wrong

Heard a podcast mention that she’s alive but she’s gone into hiding because the secret about her killing Wheeler is out. That makes more sense than anything. The scientist company would surely reveal that when they were put on the ropes.

Na I think she’s alive my pops said when Jodie was during her interview she had a cup with Hawaii on it that where she went and it’s logical.
