Rumors are circulating that Henry Cavill is joining the MCU
So beyond fighting over what Spider-Man 4 should be about, Sony is apparently rushing Marvel Studios to have Spider-Man 4 ready for 2025 but Marvel is trying to take its time (and their 2025 schedule already has 3/4 films) and have it released in 2026 just before Kang Dynasty.

-Amy Pascal wants Kevin Feige involved with a future Miles movie. Tom Rothman is the one who is fighting Feige on what to do with Spider-Man 4 and he's the one who's trying to rush it. He also wants Watts back to direct while Feige wants someone new and to have Watts on other projects

I think ultimately wouldnt Holland and the supporting cast be the deciding factors? If they arent "available" then sony cant rush this shit into production can they? Surely they can see whats going on at Sony like the rest of us

I think Blade is being pushed back to 2026. I don't see Marvel dropping 4 films next year

Outside of the MCU movies, their live-action Spider-Man related movies for the last decade (outside of maybe Venom 1) have been flops both critically and commercially, Madame Web being just the most recent in a long line of said flops.
Outside of the animated stuff, I'm not sure Sony even knows what they're doing. They just need to fall back and let Marvel handle its business.
