This shit really got me thinking about how insignificant life is.

Everybody, and I mean everybody, with a little bit of money talks about doing some good for their community, but almost no one ever does anything but cut a check.

And then you got Nipsey who was doing the hardest thing you could do which is giving his time and energy. Dude opened businesses in his community and gave jobs to his community. Dude was at his businesses daily giving his time to make his community a little better.

And then out of all the people in the world, Nipsey ends up getting killed. And not even having a meaningful death but getting run up on by a coward and shot from behind.

Shit is crazy cause it shows how insignificant life really is.

Even a person who was better than all of us ended up getting killed in the most meaningless way ever.

This what I was trying to touch on earlier, my first post in the thread. Some deaths help put things into perspective. Like, what’s really important out here. Life is precious, I rather be living the boring quiet life if the alternative is that i get to gain everything I want in pride and that I set my mind to, and still at risk of losing it all blindsidedly in the blink of an eye just because of the culture I’m apart of.
Boring is the new FUN my niggas. Wholesome. Boring life all day over here. I done seen first hand how much could be lost just from ONE small miscalculated move of a person.

I haven't been this affected by the passing of a celeb since Aaliyah..

We lost other legends and icons since then but it hits a little different when you see somebody pass in the prime of their life when they didn't get to reach their full potential

I don't know man, I don't find it totally unbelievable when she says that she didn't know about his plans beforehand.

He could have just said "I need you to take me to x street, stay in the car, I'm a be right back" without telling her what he was planning to do.

But I would find it unbelievable if after running back to the car and telling her to "Go!" that she said that she had no idea that he just committed some crime.
