I also wonder why the lil boys doppelganger was so different from everyone elses. His was the only one who was DRASTICALLY different from the original(being all burnt up) compared to everyone elses.

I wonder if that had something to do with why lil dude could control his other self and if it had anything to do with him playing with that non working lighter the whole movie

They explained that.

Red explained that the clones were made with the purpose of the gov being able to control the clones which would make them be able to control the original's above level

The experiment instead worked the opposite way and those above controlled those below

My Jason/Pluto theories
1.The tethered imitate their above level counterpart anyway unless they are made aware.Red made them aware

2. Jason was a hard birth for Addy,she had a c section,but Red had to cut herself open,so Pluto is already a crazy clone,but also mentally slow because of his hard birth.

3.Pluto being younger thinks of the mimicking like a fun game and keep in mind he's slow.He made Jason put his mask on in the closet so he could mimic him for fun and to play with him before killing him.He was going to set Jason on fire in the closet.

4. And also with Pluto being mentally slow mixed with being a kid is weaker to the mimicking movements than an adult who understands what's going on more.

While the above ground kid had magic tricks and a lighter the below ground clone loved fire and played with matches and fire and burned himself up.

And like I mentioned before.he's already crazy,but also kinda slow from Red giving herself a C section during his birth.

But all the tethered are drastically different.

Addy's husband is cool and his clone is uptight and mean

The daughter is slightly rebellious and funny,her clone is humorless and evil

Jason is also cool and slightly weird,but no stranger than your average little kid ,but his clone is straight savage

Yea they were connected in some way and he was the only one that realized it. Red lupita said the son liked to play with fire so maybe he burned himself 'below'...the sister also called the brother weird at the beach. So if he's the weird one in the family so was his clone. They matched up with the fire and the lighter and the clone sensed the connection which is why he winked at him to let him know the fire car trap.

I was avoiding the original thread so when I saw this one that said it was a :spoiler free" thread I just came to see what the discussion was about.

Doesn't matter I got called in for a detail. Can't even go see it.

Also the white mom clone was a clue as to who lupita was. She was about to stab her with the scissors but she couldn't and instead turned on herself. I think she realized she was also a clone and maybe they were taught not to kill each other, just the humans. She had no problem trying to kill the daughter cuz the daughter isn't a clone. And also since Red got em together and organized everything maybe she saw her and recognized that it looked like Red and she couldn't kill her leader.
