funny how eric gordon was balling once again last night now that butler got traded to philly
 
Playoffs also come and Harden don't know how to play w/o relying on calls and then he don't know what to do. Chris Paul alleviates that but he's washed and gonna have 15 points himself

Now are there flaws in the roster and philosophy? Yes, Ive been saying we need to diversify the offense for years but its deeper than just that

These dudes are missing wide open point blank layups, uncontested 3s and free throws whenever we get to the line which hasnt been often and thats a big problem as well

Dont know why people think the Melo signing was so bad.....dude was signed on a vet min deal to replace Ryan Anderson, nothing more nothing less. He's not the reason the Rockets have been so bad but he hasnt helped solve the problem either

Ariza would make no difference, he would be right there chucking with everybody else and bricking twice as hard.....Im still glad he isnt on the team

MCW was a risk just like Josh Smith, Ty Lawson, Eric Gordon, Gerald Green....sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt

Chriss and Knight were never in the long term plans even this season, that was all about getting contracts that were easier to move later on

James Ennis has actually been really good for us but he may be in over his head as a starter

Bzdelik retiring in the middle of the off season, Paul being washed sooner than expected and getting suspended, Harden pulling a hamstring missing time and Capela, Eric Gordon and Gerald Green forgetting how to play basketball are all out of Moreys hands and these were all key pieces last year

PJ Tucker the only player to consistently hold it down all season so far

Of course I do, I said that in my post and Ive been saying it......I would love to see some off ball action, taking what the defense gives you, some dribble hand offs ect.

Rockets offense becomes too predictable in crucial moments

I just dont think the philosophy is the sole reason why we suck right now and why we've looked so bad

This shit funny the release of melo is purely to quite fans because the whole team is under performing

A nigga off the bench can’t bring everything down

There’s nobody on the rockets that melo was taken minutes from that will all of the sudden prosper from this

He was there second leading rebounder in a few games without melo they become a even worse rebounding squad with nene out

Now that d’antoni conditioned him to come off the bench he can be useful to a team that has a better fitting system

  • Tom Thibodeau sold Timberwolves’ owner Glen Taylor on passing on the initial offer from the Heat centered around Josh Richardson because he believed that Pat Riley would come back with a better offer down the road (the Heat never returned with Richardson on the table in subsequent trade talks).
  • Woj notes that after finalizing the deal on Saturday to trade Butler to the 76ers, Taylor had seemingly lost everything from the situation, most notably the trust to stay with Thibodeau and GM Scott Layden beyond this season.
  • According to Woj, the Timberwolves desperately tried to find other trade partners throughout the past week, including reaching out to the Pelicans(wanted jrue) and Wizards(wanted beal), to no avail.
  • The Sixers believe they are operating out of a position of leverage when it comes to dealings with Butler. According to Woj, there are league executives that understand that Butler must be on his best behavior in order to get the full five-year max contract he desires this summer.
  • Taylor considered firing Thibodeau and Layden this past summer before the Butler saga broke out and continues to think about the possibility of replacing both of them.

Crazy thing is the Knicks would have had to pay Melo 28 mil last season and 30 mil this season. If nothing else, gotta thank Phil for driving him out.
 
Im already hearing Butlers agent told Philly that he is willing to resign but only if its a full 5 year max.

Hope Philly knows what the fuck they doing.

Bruh its over for Melo. Hes washed. Hes had a great career, will likely be a 1st ballot hall of famer and if not will get in the following year plus he'll have his jersey retired in Denver.

Only thing wrong with Melo is age. This is how players age, not like Bron, Bron is the outlier.

Itll be like this wherever Melo goes now.
