It wasn’t until Argento positioned herself as a champion of sexual assault victims, though, that Bennett says he felt the need to seek restitution..."

The SOL in Cali for sex crimes against children is 10 years. This happened in 2013 but even then Cali has a provision where you can still get prosecuted even after the SOL expires. If you report it after the 10 years has expired, the police have 1 year to act on it otherwise you're outta luck.
