Okay, ya’ll started me up watching the wire again. Can somebody answer this question for me? How did Marlo find out that Dion was working for the Barksdales? I never heard it mentioned until one of Avon’s crew members whispered in his ear that she had been shot in the tits and in her mouth.
Thanks for the reply. I watched the clip and it doesn’t show that discussion between Chris and Marlo, neither does it show them watching her. I don’t think this is the right one.
Like Chi-Town said Marlo didn't trust her to began w/ and in the clip when she is walking across the street, she kept looking back at the truck Avon and em was in. Plus they threw the food wrapper out the window and Chris knew it was a set-up.
i also think a lot of things were kinda implied, but iirc, Marlo didnt really go out like that, and the chick kinda went out of her way to get him to notice her
Thanks for your reply, but I looked at that scene over and over again. Avon and crew are parked at the corner, enjoying some fast food one of his crew members just delivered. Marlo’s crew are on the other side of the street watching them. A lady or streetwalker passes by, looking both ways as she crosses the street. She didn’t exit the car, acknowledge the Barksdale crew or do anything out of the ordinary. I couldn’t even tell if this was Dion or just some round-the-way-girl. I think Marlo killed all new ‘contacts” just to eliminate any suspicion. He’s a psychopath.
Thanks for your response. The girl was a hoe doing her thang. They completely left on the cutting room floor how she was connected to Avon. She wasn’t thst important anyway, so they didn’t flesh her story out—just Left us with a gruesome scene to discuss It elevates the fact that a new type of monster is in town.
