Everyone gets how the voting is looked at..

Simmons got it cool, but the eye test tells you Mitchell made more sense.
 
Saw this somewhere last night and Im paraphrasing a little but

An anonymous source from the Pacers front office basically said that Paul George always tells people whatever they want to hear at the time and is just trying to make it seem like this a hard decision for him but in reality he's has his mind set on the Lakers the whole time and that's never changed
 
Ben Simmons had the better season so Ben Simmons deserved to win.

I have an issue calling a person who practiced, strength trained, travelled, watched tape with pros a year before everyone a rookie but as of now the rules say hes a rookie and since thats the case he easily had the best season as a rookie so Ben should have won.

Tatum was easily the best rookie in the playoffs though and Mitchell was 2nd best.

Simmons with a decent jump shot will still be the best out of the 3.

All 3 have superstar potential though.
 
Yo man you dont gotta shit on Mitchell bruh. He had one of the best rookie seasons in a while and has potential to be a franchise player for a long time.

I been biggin Mitchell up all year. He reminds me of Wade except he shoots a lot of 3's. But if you actually watch Utah games and you prolly don't bcuz you east coast cats on here be fallin asleep by half time and bitchin about late games, you will see he shoots a lot to get his. 17 shots a game to avg. 20.5. I ain't mad at that bcuz that was needed by the Jazz. But i seen a few games when his shot was not fallin that he really did not have any impact on the game. I fucks with Mitchell but right now he is a volume shooter.

We talking rookie of the year though. As a rookie, Mitchell was really really good.

Bron shot 19 shots to get average 20 points his rookie year. Wade shot 13 to get 16. Even Simmons took 12 this year to get 15.

Just looked to me like you was shitting on Mitchell to big up Simmons. I thought Simmons was rookie of the year but Mitchell was great and it was closer than you are making it.
 
I seen Mitchell make clutch plays on offense and defense back to back to win a game

I seen Ben Simmons get fouled with the game on the line and missed the free throws and then wade hits a game winner in his grill
 
Why are u Mitchell groupies taking Simmons winning ROY as a rebuke of Mitchell???

I am sympathetic to the "Simmons is not really a rookie" argument, but if we are going by who had a better season, it was clearly Simmons. I know u "Eye test" experts wont like this, but the basic stats and advanced stats back Simmons.

Mitchell is a really good player and i would personally rather watch him play than Simmons.
