NBA Offseason Thread

I seen Mitchell make clutch plays on offense and defense back to back to win a game

I seen Ben Simmons get fouled with the game on the line and missed the free throws and then wade hits a game winner in his grill
Dude, i have been playing with their stats for the last 5 mins, Simmons is so so bad in the 4th qtr. Its so fucking wierd. He is a completely different player. Thats where Micthell makes up a lot of the gap.

Yo, on the flip side, Simmons might be the BEST player in the NBA in the 1st qtr. Among all the top players i checked out, Harden is the only one that comes close...

Dude should really work on his cardio, might be why his production drops by the qtr. A lot of the top guys peak in the 4th. (and also learn to shoot)

you got the beat em ups put on you by a girl. foh.

I can see the argument both ways, Donavon Mitchell deserves credit for shouldering the offensive load as a rookie(29.1 usage compared to 22.3 for simmons)

But other than scoring the ball and shooting Simmons was pretty much better at everything else, was the more efficient player and started every game he played

I enjoy seeing anything Utah Jazz related take a L though so I'm completely fine with Simmons winning

where the hell the magic come from? Lol

I'll go on record and say I don't want Kawhi Leonard on the Sixers if he doesn't express he wants to sign an extension here. That's alot to give up for a 1 year rental coming off an injury.

That's what I'm saying bruh lol. Maybe Vegas got some insider info that we don't know about? I don't know but i don't like it. No chance he stays with us why throw away assets?

Cause the Magic known to so dumb shit bruh. Id give them a chance off that if I wasVegas too.

This is a different FO and it not like they gave us a "chance" according to them were a serious contender to trade for him. Plus there are a lot of dumb teams in the league why not the Kings?

I just don’t like the inconsistency with these awards. Ben was the better player. But damn man can they pick a criteria and stick with it.

I’ve been pro if you redshirt time (no rookie of the year, even with Griffin) but if you gonna count them be consistent. You can’t vote Brogdon over Embiid which would be a landslide for Joel then turnaround in a closer race throw out that rhetoric.

Same with COY some years they give it to the coach who did the most vs expectations, then they’ll turn around and just give it to one of the coaches with a top record guys over the former. I just want a semblance of consistency.

Well on one side if a player leaves in FA you can target cheap replacements but then if you kinda cash strapped you might not sign a first round rookie to a contract because you just spent in FA...maybe
