Subliminals are disses that indirectly reference people leaving room for loose interpretation.if it's painfully obvious, name or not, it's not a sub. Drake didn't say meek's name in Back 2 back but it was clearly about Meek.
And singing and rapping are two different things. Lauryn Hill sang when she sang and rapped when she rapped. Same with Missy Elliot, Drake, Chris Brown, etc. Rapping with melodies is something different from singing i.e. Bone Thugs N Harmony and Nelly. What Beyonce did most of this album was sing with cadences typically found in rap. But using rap cadences doesn't mean you're rapping.
