Freestyle Jay-Z Sends Shots At Drake, Kanye, Nicki & Dame In New Freestyle

I fuck with Jay but Joel cooked with this
Joel(the biggest hater of them all) is great. With that said, most of these things have already been said a decade plus ago about jay or aren't that tangible. It's basically a "here's what Jay said or did that proves such and such now" article. Like even using the "he compares himself to real activists" critique is BS. Yeah the Fred Hampton bar is an amazing line. A real one of one situation. Who else wouldn't do that? It's rap. Hov having some issues dealing with criticisms with how he navigates capitalism is fair but a good deal of this piece are reaches. Especially half the stuff Noble said.

Glad Yayo clarified what he meant. I'm sure has has had Bleek around those type of people too, but i def could see 50 doing it more.

And i believe what Murda said........cuz these rap niggas be phony af to get signed.

I don't agree with it being a problem to point out that people are spending money at other places that did the same thing that Target did. It literally makes no sense to boycott Target and give you money to Walmart and Amazon, and that's exactly what's happened. It's not like people are abstaining from the things they need. People didn't just not get their kids school supplies last Fall. The ones that honored the boycott just went to other retailers, and many of those retailers are guilty of what Target did. I don't really understand what people expect the boycott to accomplish. Target is not going to reverse its DEI stance because there still a madman in the Presidency who is willing to break the law to make example of entities he doesn't like. If you boycott pushes Target out of business, what's really been accomplished? Are they going to turn around and do that same thing with every other company guilty of the anti-DEI shifts? If not, what's the point? You didn't do anything but make one company the scapegoat for a problem that ultimately rests our terrible president.

There were actually organized scaled down boycotts of Walmart, Amazon, McDonald's, Starbucks and some other entities over targeted dates. Unfortunately some of yall don't give a shit and act like paid bots so those boycotts didn't carry the significance and success the target boycott did. If you don't care thats cool but you shouldn't be getting online talking down on people trying to do something simply because you don't want to participate.

Not every thought needs to be shared.

We've discussed this before and im not trying to drag it but you were one of the posters on here saying you didn't fw kamala and listing reasons why people shouldn't vote for her less than 2 months before the election. Now you on here talking about Trump who you knew was every bit of foul and fucked up back then.

Yes the boycotts will never be as effective as they truly need to be because people need things but seeding doubt online with misinformation and no alternative solutions certainly doesn't help.

Not every thought needs to be shared.

You gonna take this whole post the wrong way 🤷🏿‍♂️ but sometimes you gotta know when to stfu. Respectfully.

You shared all that for nothing. It doesn't matter if there were scaled down boycotts if the primary boycott shifts business toward those companies. While Target was getting smashed Amazon and Walmart saw rises in market share during the same period. So unless you can explain how our cause is helped by an effort that craters Target but boosts Walmart, which is an objectively worse business in every possible way, don't bother engaging me on this issue.

People boycotting target can't help that Walmart and Amazon control the market share and supply of cheaper groceries and shopping items. You shouldn't have to boycott everything to be justified in boycotting one thing. Especially when boycotting the one thing was successful goals were met and people are still boycotting that shit.
Do you actually expect everyone to simultaneously boycott all 3? Or would focusing on hurting the profits of the weakest of those corporations, trying to get them to cave on issues so you can see how your strategy works, strengthen it and move on to the next be more realistic?

The boycott actually pushed target to cancel its rollback on their diversity goal pledge of spending/investment of $2 billion on black businesses and they've added more funds and black businesses to that pledge.

Smh. Jay z trick yall man.
