Yeah, he's gonna be in the same situation he was in while he was with the Bucks.


Whenever I hear talk about these trades where some team lands a superstar, my biggest question is.........what are they gonna give up to get them?


Now, if the Heat got Giannis........only had to give up a few draft picks.......and kept the rest of the team intact, I'd say it was a good deal.

But by giving up Herro, Jacquez, and Ware????


Besides being in Miami and not having to pay state taxes, I don't see how this puts Giannis in a better situation.

For the Heat, I don't think Giannis is the so-called X-Factor that's gonna push them over the top.


So, as the trade stands now, they might get a few more wins........but that's about it.
 
Would love to see Jaylen Brown go off and spazz out about how he really feels about the Celtics treating Tatum like the golden boy.


Not just for the pure entertainment of it, but because it would force the Celtics to have to do something to get rid of him........making the team worse off in the process.


I'd be heated if I carried the whole team for the past season and then ended up in trade rumors.........when the dude they kept was injured for almost the entire season.


There's even an argument to be made that the Celtics could've gotten to at least the Eastern Conference Finals if Tatum had sat out until next season.


Think about it, dude comes back........plays a few games.........but then sits out for Game 7.

I mean, I get it.......he didn't wanna risk another serious injury and have to miss another season, but the team might've been better off if he had just decided to wait until next season to come back.

If Philon looks decent next season, Maxey is getting traded eventually due to his pending extension that could be near 350M if he makes all nba this season. It's business.


Also, PG is eligible for an extension right now andhe prolly won't get it unless a trade is involved. He won't get it and he will have an attitude about it which will be noticeable on the court.

That’s your franchise player and he’ll be better than what Philon will be
