Official Wrestling News Thread

it meant nothing, but this was still a great segment nonetheless

i always liked the new day, although i liked them more as heels. a little too goofy for me as faces but I always respected them, even more now since they saw TKO was on some BS and left on their own accord

People complaining about a lot of TKO shit. But this was an all-time fumble.

I get that E didnt get cleared. But what a shame to waste all that heat. Them boys were radioactive coming out of this.

Ted Dibiase Jr was in Legacy, but WWE didn’t consider him a necessary part of Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes’ legacy.

With Dibiase Jr’s natural connection to Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, many fans expected him to be involved in the WrestleMania main event feud. That didn’t happen, although Dibiase was in the building filming his reactions, he wasn’t involved and never was planned to be involved in the program. We’re told there was never serious consideration for him to be involved.

Dibiase was just found not guilty of welfare fraud, clearing the way for a possibility, but Randy Orton said on Culture Kings that that Ted Jr owes him $25,000. We’re told that was serious, but we weren’t given the context of why.

Dibiase attended WrestleMania with his lawyer but was not an invited guest of WWE. Instead, he was in town for WrestleCon. One source speculated that he was sponsored by the water company on his shirt for a ticket.

I was surprised yesterday when I saw that Kofi/Woods were released from WWE. They had a 10 yr run in the company and one of the great WWE tag teams in the company history. Like some have said, once Big E got put on the shelf that was pretty much it. HHH though really dropped the ball on their heel turn though...

As for them MFT dudes, them kats was like The Great Value Bloodline of Smackdown. Jeff Cobb didn't belong in the group and the rest were jobbers outside of Solo. That group did nothing to elevate Solo.

TKO though... does not give af about releasing people but that first batch of releases are still mind-boggling.
