If their complaints is more about WWE POTENTIALLY goin dow this rabbit hole and utilizing AI for all the wrestlers promos...instead of the actual people themselves...I get it. This was cool. But it did feel like they was testing the waters. I don't see why there's a big outrage over it tho.

But IF this the direction WWE tryin to go...its not good. Cuz you're essentially taking good away one of the key foundations of pro-wrestling...the promos. If they're moving away from talent cutting the promos and relying on AI to do it for them...its not gonna end well. B/c they still gotta get on the mic. If you take that away, the talent will fail.

In ring skills can get you but so far. But the art of the promo is what gets the fans emotionally invested.

They coulda just had the real Zaria cut an actual backstage vignette lol

Yeah but they wanted it more dramatic. Don't think the city of Orlando would allow Zairia to set a whole beach on fire. Lol!

She still could've cut this at the beach tho.

So they can’t make a more dramatic backstage segment without AI???? Suddenly????

Fire everyone lol

These muthafuccas are slowly pulling away from actual people being in creative...talent cutting their own promo...etc.

Talent just gonna show up...wrestle...leave the ring. That's it.

AJ Lee has nothing on the horizon for WWE, by the looks of it.

AJ Lee made her return last year, and worked a number of matches, including an IntercontinentalTitle run. According to a WWE source, her work there is done for now.

Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that a WWE source says that AJ Lee's creative at the time is effectively done. There is hope that she will do more programs and matches in the future, and that there is some hope internally that she could appear for some big events like Summerslam.

Killed Maxine's push for what was the least cared for match all of Mania. Hopefully we see Maxine go at Becky for the get back.

Stephanie Vaquer is out of action for a while.

Vaquer was sidelined with an injury following WrestleMania, and hasn't been featured on WWE TV in the last week or so. Now, we have an update.

Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that the former Women's World Champion is on the shelf for the foreseeable future, with no timetable for a return widely known within the company. There were rumblings internally of a minimum six week absence, but that is speculatory. There's optimism she could be back for Summerslam, but that is not guaranteed.

Vaquer lost the women's world title to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42.

Having her in the Becky vortex was too much, she should have had a match with Roxanne.

I've noticed that just about every dark, "spooky" character was cut from WWE's main roster with the releases. Do you think there's a pattern there?

I don't know if there's a pattern but I can tell you there's been a story bouncing around among talents that someone in the TKO realm isn't a fan of the darker characters and that's been the blame placed on why The Wyatts, Aleister Black, Zelina, etc. were all cut. One person even suggested to me that Undertaker being The American Badass and not The Deadman in appearances is proof of that outlook. I have no way to prove that is correct, but the story has made the rounds this past week among numerous people we've spoken with. Whether there is something to it, or just assumptions, I can't verify at this juncture. I guess we will see if and when WWE leans back into supernatural and dark characters again.
