COMMUNITY United States Politics Thread: Trump's Second Term

Was my assumption correct?

I know white privilege exists I never deny that. Y'all keep saying I'm telling u guys what to do and that's false af. IDGAF what u do. I'm defending my stance nothing more nothing less.

I've made the point multiple times that I don't think sitting out is a solution, I only do it bc I'm not gonna waste my time knowing a 3rd party vote won't make a difference. Nothing more.

When did I tell u how u can do better based on what I do?

No it wasn't. Because those things again have been acknowledged in how Dems pander as well. Your issue is you want me to say both sides are the same and as a Black person that's just not reality. It may be your reality, but for Black folks it hasn't been. And thats where your analysis falls short. You refuse to acknowledge that piece of it. And thats more than saying "yeah white privilege exists".

Stop with the condescension. You asked why are there still systemic issues in the black community when democrats have had all of these W’s over the past 60 years.

Of course it’s nuanced, tf? How is it not?

You expect a country to go from 250 years of slavery to 100 years of Jim Crow to no systemic issues in 60 years? When white people are still the majority? You really expect that? If you do then you enjoy an expectation many of us can’t afford.

This shit is iterative, it’s not miraculous. So each administration you push a little forward and try not to get pushed back. And we getting pushed back like hell right now. When democrats do get back in power, the whole focus is going to be getting back to 2016. We’ve lost a whole fucking decade of potential progress to this bullshit.

So to me this shit isn’t just a message board debate. This is an existential threat to our progress.

Brotha, lol

Nevermind. Yall niggas living in fantasy world. But go off.

Oh well, you won't be getting shit either buddy..since we wanna take plays off with reparations,....We get ours and you get to get in the game champ.

Louisiana been a red state all of my life and will continue to be one.

What them swing states hitting on

Lol you doing all this typing not realizing your "plan" gets you nothing at all long or short term. You're literally giving them the tools to take away your power to get what you want in reparations. But you so worried about fucking over other people you don't realize you fucking yourself over.

Man voters don't give a fuck about the gerrymandering. Lower the damn gas prices, make groceries cheaper, and quit this damn war that Israel started

Also release all of the Epstein files already

Wasn't all the case back in early January or December of last year? Fuck them files...nobody cares about that shit but white folks and Dems.

You're right...but it does all tie in together. Because by affecting how people vote affects all those other things too.

Socially they've created an environment where they think their whiteness doesn't matter. Policy wise, numerous policies that have failed to accurately address inequities that harm parts of their base but placate older members who were raised to think a seat at the table was all that mattered.

Lol, you think it's "my plan" and you doing all this whining...when the fact is that you and folks of your lineage, need my lineage to save you.

Lol.

People will be fucked over in both parties, you're so blinded that both parties uphold white supermacy. You got a whole white boy spitting nothing but facts in your face and holding your team accountable on the fuck stupid shit that they that you bringing up other stuff to try and prove a point that has nothing to do with what we have been talking bout. You play the race card to try run away from the truth about your aint shit party that you cheer lead for

That man asked you a direct question for 2 - 3 pages and you can't even answer the white dude lol...Sad

You know your party aint shit, but you say it with kid gloves.

But I'm here to type it out and tell the folks that your party aint shit

You're right...but it does all tie in together. Because by affecting how people vote affects all those other things too.
They're doing this to fuck with both sides. Maga started it and then got pissed when dems did it with Virginia

They're all doing this bullshit instead of what people actually want

So why haven't Dems addressed systemic issues in black communities?

He ain't go answer, he wanna focus on your skin to try and duck from telling you the truth about that aint shit party who has been fucking over black folks for decades.

I told you he plays with 2 sets of keys in a sense.

It'll become more clearer as time continues to pass by....you'll understand what I'm saying...but he go sit up and play the race card instead of answering a question which will force him to speak about the aint shit ways of the party..

But again I'm hear as a black man , FBA to say that his party is fucked up and Black folks, A LOT are seeing that his party is fucked up and folks are not fucking with the Dems.

So you're saying they made policies that not only didn't address inequities but have caused harm, but made people feel good about just having a seat at the table that more or less did nothing for no one?

So why haven't Dems addressed systemic issues in black communities?
You’re saying democrats haven’t attempted a single thing to address systemic issues in black communities. Is that what you’re saying right now? After what I posted in the democrats thread and here?

I’m not doing your research for you, especially with AI being a thing. If you care go look it up.

And while you’re at it, also look up the same for republicans.

And report back so @Knock_Twice so he can be informed too.

Both sides are the same in that all they care about is power and influence, the administrative state, expanding government, censorship and surveillance, endless wars, etc.

We are in a corporatocracy that both sides cater to and benefit from which will always undermine whatever slow progress we are allowed to receive, regardless of race.

I'm asking u to expound on this post u made to me after I was trashing trump

So why haven't Dems addressed systemic issues in black communities?

That's not a 1 post answer and you smart enough to know that. That involves a deep dive in both fed and state policies, politicians, state fundings for certain things being taken away. But the short answer would be the topic you keep ducking...racism. because those policies if enacted in an equitable way would uplift Black people to a level white folks, both Dem and Republicans, aren't ready to see.

So you're saying they made policies that not only didn't address inequities but have caused harm, but made people feel good about just having a seat at the table that more or less did nothing for no one?

No. There's policies that did good. Again. You know that. And if you don't then Google is your friend. You're trying to do a catch all answer on a topic that will literally vary in reason from city to city with only one common thread.

Now...which side is going on tv weekly to talk about the "plight of the white man" and has spent the last decade talking about how oppressed white people have been because of things done to help non white folks?

Oh so it was a gotcha. Like I said, this shit goes far beyond message board banter and gotchas to me. I’m not even sure what the context for that was or what issue was being discussed.

Yes there are systemic things that should have been addressed, but my point here and right now is that they haven’t done absolutely nothing. And have certainly attempted more than republicans and Trump will.
