I mentioned the point i specifically brought up. That's how discussions work. You trying to ignore that by introducing other things is just that. You ducking the point i made to try and make your own instead of responding to what is being said.

I do see it and I've pointed it out before how Dems pander to their crowds for votes. However, there's currently 1 side who has publicly made it their mission to not only gut voting rights, which i vividly remember being told was a fear mongering tactic to bring up during the elections because "its not gonna happen, while also making it plainly clear in their verbiage and policies and things being implemented that their main goal is to push back on the progress that has been made over the last few decades to benefit white folk. So yeah that will get my attention more than Hilary Clinton talking about hot sauce trying to make people think she knows Beyonce lyrics. And no those are not the same no matter how much you want to try and equate them.

I asked u a question that applies directly to democrats and u won't answer it bc it's not convenient for you. My post to you was centered on your race being a shield. And clearly you have trouble discussing that you being white colors your lenses on these topics in a way that allows you to play the sidelines because you can opt out without feeling or putting yourself at risk for the same consequences. I answered your question you just dont like the answer. Yes Dems do fuck shit too. Yes they do things that have and continues to harm their base. This has all been acknowledged.

Also funny you keep demanding an answer to your question without doing the same. You can keep being sparky all you want. That won't change the reality that you being white provides you in this country. And that right there is one answer to your question about what Dems have contributed. An environment where white people feel emboldened enough to tell Black folks what's best and how they can do better under the guise of faux fence sitting, liberalism and/or leftism. Socially they've created an environment where they think their whiteness doesn't matter. Policy wise, numerous policies that have failed to accurately address inequities that harm parts of their base but placate older members who were raised to think a seat at the table was all that mattered.

You expect a country to go from 250 years of slavery to 100 years of Jim Crow to no systemic issues in 60 years? When white people are still the majority? You really expect that? If you do then you enjoy an expectation many of us can’t afford.

This shit is iterative, it’s not miraculous. So each administration you push a little forward and try not to get pushed back. And we getting pushed back like hell right now. When democrats do get back in power, the whole focus is going to be getting back to 2016. We’ve lost a whole fucking decade of potential progress to this bullshit.

So to me this shit isn’t just a message board debate. This is an existential threat to our progress.
