Which is not totally accurate. But you have to double down to not be backed into a corner. If this was solely/exclusively what black people cared about, then that's where the story would end but it doesn't because even after they were free, they still did not have the same rights as white people so you know what happened after that? The continued fight for equality by those who were freed and the ones who would become free afterwards and the children born from those people, and so on and so on

Slaves couldn't vote at that time. So your assertion that there was a ballot for them to even vote for is ridiculous. Your question is ridiculous and you doubling down and ignoring literal history is ridiculous. Slaves wanted to be free 1st and foremost. That was on the table, not them wanting to see if things will pass for them to get a house, not to see if things will pass to see if they can get jobs, and all this other shit that this nigga said.

1st and foremost and the most important thing on a slave mind in 1864-1865 was their freedom, in which they were waiting on a nay or yay for the abolishment of it...

That's why I asked the nigga what else was on the ballot for folks to vote on for the slaves to be concerned about? in 1865.
