Wouldn't that violate HIPAA laws if they told you without her permission? Regardless of the content
WellI think some of you are being too hard on her.
She's just a single parent doing the best that she can under the circumstances.
Ultimately, the school became responsible for the child's situation as soon as they decided to pass him when they shouldn't have.
Well
Although you're being facetious, she's working 3 jobs. I think that is the sheer definition of doing the best she can
Naw this school needs to be shut down. He was in the middle of the class. The school might be doing him a favor by keeping him in. This is one of the few situations that the school didnt fail him assuming he stays, and his mother gets serious about his education. But, looking at how shes taking it, she will make sure he graduates and society will likely hit him harder than school.
Your single parent take is a thinly veiled attempt at women because most single parent households are ones with womenNot to veer off topic, but I don't think you fully understand my position.
I never meant to imply it was a single parent's fault for being a single parent.
Just that most of these problems occur in single parent households.
Regardless of how or why they became single parents.
The numbers don't lie.
I think you just take issue with the gender aspect of these situations.
If you take gender out of the equation..........a single parent household is still a single parent household.
A lot of parents get duped by charter schools and I can't figure out for the life of me whyNaw this school needs to be shut down. He was in the middle of the class.
No one is doing well there.
The parents fail for having their kids there. The school is failing as what a school is supposed to be. No one can succeed in that building.. Burn it down
I hate pop up schools. I need to research my school and see an established road for my child to succeed.A lot of parents get duped by charter schools and I can't figure out for the life of me why
at least here, i know back in the day, the charter school didnt have to follow some of the state standardized testing. Again, why wouldn't you want to know how your child is fairing against the average student in the state? I mean, yea, it's great when they are either average or exceeding that, but if they are below or far below average, you need to see where they are struggling.I hate pop up schools. I'm not tryna listen to a sales pitch about how this new shit y'all put together is better, only to find out a kid with a 0.67 GPA is in the middle of the class.
Like how is half the kids worse than the kid in OP
Get these "schools" outta here

That's why I blame both.at least here, i know back in the day, the charter school didnt have to follow some of the state standardized testing. The snake oil the charter school was also pushing was smaller class sizes, more individualized attention from teachers, fewer tests, etc... and while that might be true in terms of actual numbers, the quality of the education is still shitty cause in a lot of instances, most days are treated as "free" days with very little curriculum b/c back to point one, there isnt going to be a test to gauge what they have been learning.
these schools could also hired non certified teachers as well at a cheaper cost with the promise of paying off student loans or some shit. So now, even with the workforce, you are shortchanging the students bc the teacher might be just one presidential term older than the oldest students. You got bigger babies teaching younger babies.

You so full of shit bView attachment 1601485
It's just basic math bruh.
If 2+2=4..........and 3+1=4............then 2+2 is equal to 3+1.......because they both add up to 4.
