Chris Jericho….the Cornerstone?

Chris Jericho has been the subject of discussion recently, as he trademarked the phrase “Cornerstone.” This has led to natural speculation about his landing point.

Sources in AEW do have a growing belief that he will return to the company, especially with the nature of the trademark making more sense there. We’ve not heard anything regarding a WWE return at this stage. There has been a lot of chatter internally about Jericho possibly returning tonight.

We’re told that there absolutely have been talks between Chris Jericho and WWE in recent months. However, at no point has creative been set for him that we’ve heard about. He was never planned for the WWE Raw on Netflix anniversary, Royal Rumble, or Elimination Chamber.

At the very least, Jericho and AEW have been discussing a return in the last couple of months.

must of told him the only plans they had was to let Big Gunt choke em out and put em back on the shelf or some'

thats the only way i wanted to see him back in a active role honestly

another legend for gunther to retire then he could of transitioned to a backstage role but knowing Jericho he probably wanted to come back n be one of the guys, get in on some of the stories.

I was thinking it was him from the jump

then they said he had that case n i was like nah but he got cleared from it and he posted a video afterwards where some other dude was talking while hes in the background n hes telling somebody to book a flight the flight for Vegas but he doesnt say what its for

it always made sense it being him cus of the history they had with Legacy but idk
