WWE has reached out to a number of WWE Hall of Famers about coming into Washington, DC for John Cena's retirement match, PWInsiderElite.com can confirm. One name that we have heard is already in town for the event is Trish Stratus.
We've been asked by a number of Elites about the chances of Vince McMahon being there for Cena's final match. No one that we've spoken to in the company has heard of plans for McMahon to be there in person. One source noted they'd expect Linda McMahon to be there before Vince but cautioned "you never know with him."
Regarding the rumors of Donald Trump, no one in the company has specifically told us that he is expected, but given the market, there are others from the political world expected to be in attendance this weekend.
We are also told a number of A&E execs are slated to be in town.
