Would Adam Cole be forced to retire if he were still employed by WWE???

One has to think that Hunter constantly pushing conditioning and booking safe would’ve kept Cole in great in ring shape.

He just had to outlast Vince.

I don't recall him being in bad shape like in WWE like he has in AEW. I haven't seen his matches in AEW but did he do all that high risk stupid shit that everyone else do there?

So you’re going to ignore all the ACL injuries that happened in NXT.. that began under his watch.. I know that separate from the Cole’s concussion issue. But point the Fed doesn’t have a perfect track record when it comes to injuries…

No the Fed does not.

That being said, even with a roster that is as big as the feds… their injuries are no where near as rapid fire as AEWs.

Is it poor spot booking or conditioning?

Cole was always on borrowed time. It's difficult to blame it on his frail body-type when Darby Allin is even smaller and taking worse bumps. Cole was injured a lot towards the end of his NXT run. It just wasn't meant to be.

Unfortunately I'm kinda glad...Im not a fan of these very regular looking dudes being booked as anything other than cruiserweights. Its worse than ever. Its why I can't really get behind Daniel Garcia; great wrestler, pretty decent on the mic, but looks like a teenage homeless Bob Backlund. Same with Rhio for the women's. Cute lady, but she should have 0 singles victories.

In NXT he had the legs for the lifts and spots.

In AEW his lower body diminished tremendously.

Darby is wildly athletic, determined and has a stupidly high pain tolerance. I can absolutely see him holding at least the IC title on main roster WWE. He’s a human lawn dart.

I get where you are coming from but also think that it promotes an unhealthy body standard. Size should not be more important than spatial and situational awareness.

2 big things AEW are failing at right now.
Too much ADD/ADHD and not enough Ritalin.

Yeah I was actually bullshitting myself now that you mention it, because Darby is one of my favorite wrestlers right now. I also like Orange Cassidy and he's a ridiculous character in general, but i love it. Also, Jamie Noble's run in WWE should be studied as it was low key incredible considering his size and that it happened well before WWE pushed cruiserweights regularly.

Starting in 2026, FOX strengthens its sports offering in Mexico with the addition of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide

The new agreement consolidates FOX as the home of sports in Mexico by adding one of the country’s most iconic and widely followed spectacles

Mexico City, November 25, 2025. Fox Corporation (“FOX” (Nasdaq: FOXA, FOX)) continues to strengthen its presence in Mexico with the addition of leading Mexican lucha libre promotion AAA to its portfolio of sports content. With this new asset, FOX expands its offering and reaffirms its commitment to providing Mexican audiences with the best national and international sports programming.

Through this alliance, FOX will broadcast AAA’s main events, including including Premium Live Events such as Triplemania, where the top stars of Mexican lucha libre — Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, Psycho Clown, Pagano, Pentagon Jr, Rey Fenix, Mr Iguana, Vikingo, Lola Vice, La Parka, Dragon Lee and El Grande Americano — will deliver matches full of excitement, adrenaline and spectacle. In addition to Mexico, FOX will broadcast AAA across Central America and South America (excluding Brazil).

“This agreement with AAA represents an important step in our strategy to continue building a diverse and relevant sports offering for the Mexican audience. Lucha libre is an essential part of culture and passion in Mexico; we are very proud to bring its stories and idols to millions of households across the country,” said Luis Maldonado, Executive Director of Programming and Marketing at FOX Mexico.

“We are very excited to partner with FOX, a brand that shares our vision of innovation and entertainment,” said Patrick Dooley, SVP Global Strategy and Creative Operations at WWE. “This partnership will elevate AAA to new audiences and take Mexican sports entertainment to another level.”
