Its hard getting to the matching salary without completely getting the team but they also don't have picks or young players that I think Dallas would want

Maybe if thet didnt draft Maluach since he overlaps with Lively

Maluach doesn't necessarily project to be a starter in the league and is still years away either way. I think there's a place for him in Dallas especially with gafford probably being on the way out as well. Only player going out in that deal that is contributing on Phoenix atm is royce O'Neal. So its not really gutting them.

I wanted to put oso instead of Fleming but thought that might be overdoing it.

AD Makes 54 million dollars.....Royce O Neal makes 10...where are you getting the matching salary? You're giving up multiple major pieces just to match....some combination of Brooks, O Neal, Green, and Allen

Also have to remember the goal for Dallas would not be take back long term money.....they want expiring contracts. Royce has 3 years left

On top of that Suns dont have draft capital and like I said if Im Dallas im not interested in any their young players

Mavs can get a way better return than anything Phoenix can offer

Royce is an easy contract to flip for some 2nds and/or a bench player.

I agree that Dallas can probably do better tho.

I ignored the talk you had after you posted this but no way am I giving up Maluach who just turned 19, draft capital as a team who just gave up draft capital for KD, and Fleming who you just drafted for a guy who can’t give you 65 games and in his 30s for 2 years of maybe contention that’s the kind of shortsightedness that they just did
 
If you’re the suns you really should be trading Booker but if you really want to try and compete for 4th best team in the west with the wolves, spurs, and lakers then AD wouldn’t be the move

It would be guys like Lauri, Siakam, Bam imo

Fair but these are irresponsible white men we talking about. Yall giving matt ishbia and patrick dumont more credit than they deserve lol.

I think AD has to go somewhere where it’s a low risk high reward that way if it don’t work it doesn’t set things back too much

Suns can’t play around with surrounding Booker with talent

That’s why I picked the bulls for AD

if it don’t work, oh well it doesn’t change anything for Matas and Giddey

Siakam not available and if they don't have the assets for AD they certainly don't have them for Lauri and bam. 🤷🏿‍♂️

You are right, my bad I didn't see that at first.....and its really not a bad trade but Dallas has to knock this out the park


This is the main return in the Luka trade, they have to get some really good shit back for him

I would love to see Dallas go from Luka to AD to Jalen Green though

Agreed bulls is the best place for Dallas to get a return. Plenty of expirings and draft capital.
