Nah. I don't traffic in HIV ready circles that Baltimore niggas pride themselves on.
Un hunh, but detailed knowledge of all the inner workings at a higher level than I as a native have...

You bought some ass off of Wilkens Ave before

Saying most black men are predators should be block worthy among a few other things he said

But yall let that fly

Fuck outta bruh. Don’t talk to me with this nonsense.

bruh

jus as easy as I posted vids of him uplifting the black community, you could jus as easily post the vid(s) of him saying most black men are predators... if they even exist

otherwise shut that shit the fuck up

cuz that's sum cracka/coon shit puttin that on his name but can't back it w/ proof, jus a "trust me bro"

nah.. don't work like that

jus like in court, if you make the allegations, the onus is on you to provide the proof

Same shit I said already

It ain't about the presents. I'm not a fan of forcing children, especially Black children, into adulthood and real world worries any sooner than they need to be.
I think there's a balance

I think there are parents who think good parenting is simply buying kids things and that's where it stops

As long as I'm buying you things, you should be ok. But at some point, the kids grow up and age out of the toys. What else have you given them?

I didn't think he was advocating for parents to never buy their kids anything but that can't be it. And I also think there are age appropriate conversations you can have with your child to explain the ways of the world.

This how I know you haven't done the knowledge if you can say this as boldly as you are

You need to do your research on this one fam
I know about him much before you.

And I’m not into giving multiple chances to any man that diss black men as much as him.

You foolishly said he’s holding black men accountable which is weird to say at any point but you got it

You can give him those chances but his colors came through on more than one occasions and it’s ✌🏽 with him.

Yall need to learn to stop giving multiple chances to folks like that but do you.

Deante partnered with an entity in Oakland I believe for a back to school drive where he helped raised like 10k or something to give kids backpacks and school supplies

Dude takes calls he receives on air and links young brothas and sistas with people in the trades industry to get them hooked up with jobs.

Exclusively promotes black owned businesses to give them increased exposure.

I think they also hosted a family event in Atlanta to also help link people with resources. I think that happened or it got rescheduled. And he has a lot more planned on the way since he now has a bigger platform and access to other resources

My brother, again I ask you to post evidence of these claims you're making. Also I don't care if you were up on him before I was. This isn't a race for me.

I simply do not see his criticisms of black men as harshly as you do to the point where I think he on some bullshit. The colors should be there as you claim so it shouldn't be hard to find one or two instances of him doing exactly what you're describing.

I was that kid in the 2nd grade talmbout "Ain't no such thing as Santa Clause" in a Catholic school.

Yeah, that shit pissed off the teacher and the parents, but I came up in a Kwanzaa household. It's really no different than being raised in a Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, Baha'i, or Muslim household; we ain't celebrate it and I knew early on that there was no such a thing as Santa. It doesn't harm kids really.

I said music can invoke different feelings and i agree it can affect your feelings, which is what you're saying they said, but I dont think music and actions are directly correlated. As in you listen to a song then go out and do something becauase you heard it in a song.

But that's not what they said was happening. They were just saying that when the stopped listening to Rap, they generally felt different and better. It was like the reaction people have when they cut back on things that are bad for you like fried food, alcohol, or drugs.

I can give the benefit of the doubt that he was speaking in somewhat hyperbole. But I still don't even like that idea floated around. Our kids are already aged up by the outside world. I don't want to intentionally contribute to that in that negative way.

Im Catholic and went to a Catholic school and I never believed in Santa. You completely missed what I said in that this isn't about Christmas or gifts. It's about adultification of Black kids earlier than I think is needed

giving your kids information & telling them the truth isn't negative

lying to the kids is negative (& not jus bout santa, in general)

I never said it was inherently negative. I said I don't like when it is negative. I specifically made that distinction. And barking about in a video screaming about taking kids Christmas away to "explain the real world to them" just looks silly.
