It'll be nice, but I wouldn't hold me breath on Galactus returning, at least anytime soon within the next 10-15 years
Because Marvel/Disney apparently hold a collective stroke between Phase 3 and Phase 4
You would think it was two completely different production companies making these last few movies

While this film, as many has noted, is visually impressive and generally well acted, it's too damn slow with many parts of it.
Like okay, we get it.....Galactus and we need a plan. With that, Pedro Pascal was either a total miscast as Reed Richards or the writers have zero clue about Reed Richards personality and characteristic.

Or they wanted to make his Reed distinct from John Krasinski and Ioan Gruffudd's portrayal, both who actually looked more the part, (the other guy isn't even worth mentioning)

Ether way, Pedro Pascal's characterization of Reed Richard being this whiny, pouty unsure of himself wimp just didn't add up. Thing having to voice and demeanor of a church mouse subject points also

But let me guess… the almighty subversion

I liked it

Both this and supes were very good visually
I preferred this as a movie

They felt like a family and the story was a good scifi so I wasn't pressed to see too much else for an intro film.

Dude as reed was cool but marvel has shown smart before with Tony, Shuri, and banner so Reed seemed a bit lacking in that department. Especially since he's supposed to be smarter than them.

Where TF was the ultimate nullifier

I like how the world was all like "umm why don't y'all just give him y'all newborn for our sakes" 😂

If y'all don't go eat a billion d*cks nh

Why did Galactus feel the need to get the baby himself? What was silver bitch doing?

The chase was cool.

Johnny figuring out a language in a matter of days when spanish and french have been kicking my ass alls my life is hilarious.

I was also thinking reed so smart yet the world still have big back tvs is crazy.

People in the movie were saying Franklin reminds them of jack jack I'm like nah he's jack jack on roids

I fux with it

Hated that wig on the black lady tho

I was wondering why the surfer chick just didn't come down beat all their asses and take the baby because she could do it with ease. Someone said that she was probably destroying those devices across the world at the time and that's why Galactus did it solo.

Regardless of that plot hole I fucked with the movie. Needed more action tho

Another thing....where TF was reed about to put Earth???

So far that Galactus couldn't find it 😒
You know dude and his herald been traveling from planet to planet, galaxy to galaxy more than likely universe to universe.

And they're fast af boi

He's getting wherever eventually.

I'm thinking maybe another dimension too but either way this shit would have to be mapped out and explored since Earths inhabitants needs special circumstances to survive.

Idk banishing Galactus seems like it always had to be the move but with the herald, that shit shouldn't have worked

Ironically this version of Reed technically is the first person across multiple timelines & universes that’s successfully created time / space travel.

Also marvel faked ppl out cause in those trailers it looked like Reed was using the nullifier only for it to just be a piece of a building in the film lol

When shooting with Franklin, how often was it a real baby versus movie magic?

100% of the film was shot with a real baby. Our lead baby, Ada, a little girl, was just heaven. We had lots of other babies who were acting with us and helping us. We got really attached to them, and they were so part of our journey. It almost became weird if they weren’t there.

Also, it’s challenging. The speech that Sue has was a night shoot. It was really late and we were shooting in winter in London, and all the babies cried at exactly the same line. I thought, “Am I delivering something so bad that they’re crying at the same moment?” Babies are the most natural actors in the world.

The beautiful bond Sue shares with Franklin is ultimately what propels her to save the world – she’s willing to give up her life to defeat Galactus and protect her son. What was it like filming that scene and evoking such a physically exhausting task for her?

It was so helpful to know that it was a mother’s rage, and a mother’s love, because it felt animal. I wanted it to feel more primal, rather than just, “I’m trying to defeat this enemy for everybody.” It’s more like, “I’m fighting to save my child.” I wanted to tap into how fierce the feminine is, while knowing that Sue also embodies a very soft femininity as well.

Sometimes action females can feel invincible. We don’t see the softer sides of them. For Sue, undeniably, since the ’60s, she felt like this maternal force. I think for all of us and Matt Shakman, it was asking the question of what the maternal feminine is really like. I really hope women like the film, because that’s what I responded to Sue about in the comics so deeply.

She's a statue, you freaky mofo. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
