I couldnt quite put into words my thoughts bout the movie
although i enjoyed it, i felt like something was missing and it was treated more as a "lets introduce these characters into the next phase" and not a true movie that just so happens to introduce the characters to the next phase

at either rate, this video sums up my thoughts perfectly

I just felt Galactus should have been a villian that was being built up like Thanos. Silver Surfer being a female didn't need to happen. Those my main gripes which aren't big gripes.

Forgot about this movie. 2023 yall niggas was nasty, lol. Niggas opened a Krispy Kreme factory for some mid. Besides Galactus and the end credit scene, this movie was forgettable.

he wasnt the big threat and im not a comic buff or anything but isnt Galactus just primarily feat in the FF comics?

I would have told all those people to go fuck themselves, the nerve of them wanting to give someone's baby away.
I remember the back and forth and me doing one of these

Galactus isn’t just a villain tho so it doesn’t make sense to build him up to be this major overarching villain.

And from what seen, he isn’t dead anyways

He debuted in FF and has a special relationship with them, but he's shown up in pretty much everything at this point. He's also a mainstay in general cosmic Marvel stories.

The unfortunate thing about how the comics use his character is that he's 90% a jobber. They mostly trot him out to show how much stronger a hero has gotten or to put a new villain over. It's so overused that it almost doesn't mean anything at this point. At any given time, Galactus should be able to beat 99.999% of Marvel characters, but also at any given time he can somehow lose to 99.999% of Marvel characters. They had the chance to use him better in the MCU, and instead, they basically let Sue solo him.
