First season of peace maker is easily one of the best shows to come out in the last few years

Mr Terrific was the best character

Guy was my 2nd fav. Both had funny parts.

I thought Lex Luthor was too young/baby faced. Still better than Jesse Eisenberg tho.

Part that bothered me was Lex play calling the moves in a fist fight against Superman.

Enjoyed it better than Man of Steel but its close. Caville is a "better superman" but this new guy had more personality.

Blacker perry
Futuristic
Corny/campy at times

I felt Superman was even more of a pussy than usual.
Cap showed you can do the boy scout routine without being a bitch. Not so here

I also see parallels with supes and Black Panther in that the writers feel they have too much going for them so in order to make a story they try their best to destroy them and their lore

Supes with his parents wanting him to take over the world(and nobody questioning it too much even though it's from lex, like foh)
And T'challa and shuri being some college girls gone wild heifer

Good movie. A bit too campy at times. Krypto started to get on my nerves after while. I’m not a huge dog lover though so.

Mr. Terrific’s tone was straight from a Shaft movie, but I didn’t mind too much. His frustration with dumb white shit was very much on brand for black people, lol.

Lex was great. Definitely embodied that hater side and they displayed his genius perfectly.

If I were from Kansas I’d be offended. They made his parents straight up hicks, lol.

You can definitely feel the Gunn Guardians of the Galaxy influence. The monsters could have easily been creatures in Guardians. Matter of fact, this was basically Superman Guardians.

I still give the edge to MOS for the overall movie and Caville being the better Superman, but I wasn’t mad at this one.

It had a better Superman. Superman is not supposed to be silent, emo and brooding like Bat-Man. I enjoyed MOS for what it was and own it on Blu-Ray, but that was the wrong tone and personality.
