BINGO!!

in most (not all, I'm sure there are a few similar) comics Superman was never written like how he was in Man of Steel.

In this one dude was his usual optimistic believe in the good of everyone, persona. Even Lois pointed out that he was too optimistic to a fault. His caring about everyone and everything is also one of his biggest weaknesses, which assisted in him struggling while fighting in the crowded city. I can understand why some people didn't like that he was getting his ass kicked, but he was still fairly new at being a superhero in this film, which is something I believe a lot of viewers forgot.
The intro even mentions that he's only been Superman for like 3 years

Just watching the movie you can see he still new to this and he makes some questionable decisions that I think a more seasoned Superman doesnt.

What do you rate the movie?
I cant give a fair rating since I bootlegged that shit.

I would not have been disappointed if I paid for it unlike Sony movies tho. I will say I truly cant stand that fishlens shot they do looking at whoever is flying looking doofy in the fuckin face tho. They do it every fuckin time and it irritates me

I am glad we didnt rehash the planet blowing up.. a crash in Kansas or wherever the fuck. like ok we get it... lol

Hawkgirl and Green Lantern were underused but I get it. was alot going on and im glad mr teriffic got to shine

Best live action portrayal period.

what made him better than Gene Hackman. Its been a while but I feel like folks felt he was the best portrayal for quite some time and some felt the smallville dude was good as well but i never watched so I cant speak on it

Dude I’m a Gene Hackman fan but his portrayal was goofy af. I get it was limited to its times and they probably wanted something lighthearted but his portrayal was all wrong. Smallville’s version of Lex was the best. Rausenbaum did the character justice. I think Hoult killed it. Lex is a supreme hater. He nailed Lex’s vindictive, pettiness to a T. Side note I can’t wait to see when they bring in Flash and we meet reverse Flash. They have to cast Antony Starr for Reverse Flash.

Just saw it. I enjoyed it and the cast was super dope. DC really embodied a younger optimistic Superman and I like his switches between personas. Hault did a great job as Lex and really showed that hatred and pettyness for Superman lol. Mr. Terrific, Guy, and Hawkgirl were awesome and Terrific stole every scene for me.

This legitimately felt like a Justice League unlimited episode which happened to focus on Superman mostly. Made me feel like a kid again. Lois and Clark had genuine chemistry again finally on the big screen. I'm very curious how the rest of the og Justice League fits into this world.

I do hope Gunn doesn’t handle directing the other members his style would be way too jarring for Wonder Woman, Batman, or Flash. I'm in for Supergirl I want to see more of this universe.
